ABURI GIRLS PROVES TOO STRONG FOR LEGACY GIRLS COLLEGE

The decibel level that greeted the fourth contest of Round 2 of Senior Sharks 6 lends credence to the fact that the Sharks Quiz still holds pride of place among quiz lovers. Aburi Girl’s SHS and Legacy Girl's SHS pitched matter against matter to see who progresses to the next round of the competition.

The mountaineers are here by virtue of Ranking status from Season 5 whereas Legacy Girl’s beat St. Francis Girls SHS convincingly at the preliminary stage.

Predictably, Aburi Girl’s was purposed to rise to the highest level in Sharks Season 6 while Legacy Girl's was determined to make their mark and leave a lasting legacy in the Sharks Quiz.
Awo, Farida, Ashira and Kadita were thrust with the responsibility of executing that agenda for Legacy Girl's with Christiana, Joycelyn, Beatrice and Ericka hoisting the “...God is King" mantra of Aburi Girls SHS.
ROUND 1

Legacy Girls stumbled and fumbled throughout their set of eight questions, only able to manage one correct answer.
As first-timers, this is a round that the Akuse girls would wish to quickly put behind them.
At the other side of the dais, Aburi Girls drew from their exposure and experience in the Senior Sharks.

To say they were impressive is an understatement, as they collaborated and synergised beautifully to hit home their eight set of questions.

At the end of the Round, Aburi Girl’s had established a gap that made the contest look like a tall order for Legacy Girl’s indeed.

ROUND 2
Both schools reshuffled their cards before Round Two was called into action.

Akosua stepped in for Legacy Girl's as Angelina made herself readily available for Aburi Girls.

The changes appear to have gingered both schools to go all out and make their impact felt in this crucial Round.

This round was a marked departure from Round 1 as Legacy Girl's shook off the sub-standard showing in Round 1 and gave their fans a glimmer of hope.

Both schools started the Round in fantastic fashion hitting accurate answers one after the other.

Legacy Girl’s improved outing in this Round had changed the dynamics of this contest by the time the Round ended.

Aburi Girls still led the Round but Legacy were in sighting distance of their Eastern-regional neighbours.
ROUND 3
Legacy Girls College had palpably warmed themselves into this contest and it was not difficult to see.

They stepped up their performance a notch higher and bested Aburi to it in critical areas of the STEM Round.

Both Girl’s Schools were in no mood to let their guards down, but it was Legacy Girl’s who showed more depth and dexterity in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.

Unsurprisingly, their efforts were rewarded by taking this penultimate Round to make the final Round of this contest a fight or flight affair.
ROUND 4
Round Four brings the best-of-the-best in Literacy, Numeracy, Science and Social Science against each other.

Thus, Farida and Angelina locked horns in Literacy for Legacy Girl's and Aburi Girl's respectively.

Farida answered the second question accurately, after the first had been wrongly answered by both contestants.
Erica for Abugiss tried her best in Numeracy, but her best was not enough to earn her a point.

Kadita failed to attempt any question.

In Science, Beatrice rose to give Aburi Girl's an all-important twenty(20) points from correctly answering the two questions up for grasp. Bravo!!!
Akosua followed Kadita's footsteps and chose to stay away from the questions altogether.
Anticlimactically, Awo and Joycelyn for Legacy and Aburi failed to attempt any of the questions in general knowledge.

And with that the contest was wrapped up convincingly for Aburi Girl's.
Legacy Girls College gave a good account of themselves in this contest, inexperience and one or two technical aspects their only drawback.

If they sharpen a few rough edges, they are destined to go far in subsequent editions of Senior Sharks.

Congratulations to Aburi Girl's!
