Eight qualified schools for the national finals of Junior Sharks Season 8 are now officially certified, clearing the way for a mouth-watering competition.

These eight qualified schools booked their qualification to Junior Sharks 8 national finals after they came tops in two online preliminary contests supervised by the ATDP- organisers of The Sharks Quiz.
After securing their tickets, the eight qualified schools will now pit their strength against the seeded schools (comprising Ranked and Super Ranked) for the ultimate in Junior Sharks 8.
The inclusion of the eight schools in the national finals of Junior Sharks 8 thus brings a fresh dynamic to the competition.
On the back of their impressive showing in the two online tests, it is safe to say that Junior Sharks 8 fans will have their money’s worth.
The participation of the eight schools in season eight of Junior Sharks will surely enrich the quality and diversity of the best quiz programme for Junior High Schools.
The eight qualified schools coming from some of the best schools across the length and breadth of the country also add to the expanding reach and appeal of the Junior Sharks Quiz.
The stage is now set for an action-packed encounter among the final twenty-four schools that will take centre stage in Junior Sharks 8.
From the 24th of March to the 29th of March 2025, the phases of Junior Sharks 8 will be rolled out and concluded triumphantly.
Qualified schools
All interested schools willing to step up and be counted were allowed to participate in the preliminary qualification for Junior Sharks 8.
Thus, a total of about sixty schools expressed their desire to take their shot at the national finals of Junior Sharks 8 via the online preliminaries.
After the first round of exams, thirty-seven schools made it into the pre-knockout stage.
These thirty-seven schools then took the next level of test, after which eight out of the lot finally secured their qualification to Adesa We, Accra.
For the avoidance of doubt, the eight qualified schools for Junior Sharks Season 8 are: Faith Kids Academy, Asikuma Methodist, Mensah Saahene JHS, and Queen of Peace Basic.
St. Peter’s Catholic Basic, Sonrise Christian Basic, Methodist Basic Akwadum, and Queens Court School complete the list.
Ranked Schools
Ranked schools are those schools that scaled the First Round of the national finals of Junior Sharks 7 but got stuck and were eliminated with honour.
Therefore, the eight Ranked schools competing in Junior Sharks 8 are:
M/A Crig JHS, Integrity Keepers JHS, St. Peter’s JHS, Jireh Int. School, Kotoka Prim/ JHS, Matta Devi Basic School, Vine Christian High School, and Services Prim/JHS.
Super Ranked Schools
Super Ranked Schools are the schools that can be thought of as occupying the upper chamber of a House of Lawmakers.
These schools made it to the quarterfinals of Junior Sharks 7 before exiting the competition gracefully.
In Junior Sharks 8, the Super Ranked Schools are DPSI Ghana, Ancilla Schools, and Life Int. School, Ghana Christian Int. School, Manna Int. School, GIU Int. Christian Academy, Dahin Sheli School, and Angels’ Ridge School.
Given the fine mix of seasoned schools and newcomers, the upcoming Junior Sharks 8 finals promise to be both challenging and exhilarating.
The seeded schools bring experience and a consistent level of excellence in Junior Sharks, while the newcomers will inject enthusiasm and fresh angles into the quiz.
