DPS as a pioneering and a long-standing partner in the Senior Sharks Quiz displayed sufficient familiarity with the ins and outs of the quiz.

Coming into the contest as a ranked school, DPS relied upon their storied history in the Sharks Quiz to their full advantage.
Minnows Ghana National College, posed no real threat to the quartet of Boateng, Sumaya, Kofi and Gabriella representing DPS.
The Cape Coasters on the other side of the podium were represented by Fendie, Elijah, Felix and Papa Yaw.

Sandwiched between these two schools was able quizmaster, Noble Crosby Annan, with accurate time-keepers assisting.
ROUND 1
DPS were in red hot form from the blast of the bell in this round, as they answered questions back-to-back.

They were composed, self-assured and confident, displaying neither nerves nor jitters to take on question after question.

On the other hand, Ghana National College found themselves in sinking sand, and kept drifting deeper and deeper into nothingness with incorrect answers.
At the end of the First Round, DPS deservedly had the lead.
ROUND 2
This round held promise for either school and their chances of being victorious or otherwise in this contest.
To boost their chances then, each school effected a substitution with Prince appearing for Ghana National College and Joel for DPS.
Ghana National College were called into action without delay but they missed their major question, as DPS attempted the bonus and bundled it.

Both schools got the next set of questions right, and it looked like no one was prepared to slip.
Ghana National, however, lost a bit of steam as the round bore on, allowing DPS to pick up their bonuses.
DPS still had the lead at the end of this round.

ROUND 3
DPS entered this Round with a well-rehearsed strategy and executed it to perfection.

They stayed clear off questions they were indecisive about, allowing Ghana National College to rush and crush.

DPS were in an upward motion in this Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics based Round.

Scores at the end of the Round indicated that DPS had extended their lead as the last round awaited the teams.

ROUND 4

This was Ghana National College’s best Round in this contest and perhaps may have exceeded expectations, but their late efforts could not redeem the contest for them.

First up was the Literacy duel which saw
Fendie and Gabriella face each other for Ghanacoll and DPS respectively.

Gabriella gave her team further boost when she answered two questions accurately. That's treasure!
The mathematics tacticians were Prince and Kofi for Ghanacoll and DPS with Prince answering the first question in the Maths with ease whilst Kofi failed the second answer.
Felix and Boateng for Ghanacoll and DPS respectively exhibited their prowess in Science with an accurate answer each.
For general knowledge, Elijah and Sumaya for Ghanacoll and DPS emerged to showcase their all-roundedness.

But it was Elijah that pulled a fast one on Sumaya to claim the second question and draw the curtains on a worthwhile contest.

DPS took the contest in impressive fashion but Ghanacoll earned plaudits for not giving up until the bones were rotten.
