Adisadel College face no problems against Sonrise Christian High
The Round of 16 of the Senior Sharks 8 will see the black and white stripes of Adisadel College featuring after the Cape Coasters defeated Sonrise SHS handsomely in the Round of 32. Since their outstanding run to the grand finale of Season 6, the ‘Zebra boys’ have knocked unsuccessfully on the doors of another final. Coming up against the effervescent Sonrise Christian High therefore, Adisadel College knew their job was cut out for them.

They largely lived up to expectations in this exciting contest to keep themselves in the Senior Sharks 8.
Sonrise on the other hand will have to go back to the drawing board and identify areas they can improve upon in their performance.
The Ho-based school does have something positive to build on, seeing that they were able to beat the Santaclausians to it in the STEM Round.
Before Sonrise returns to the Senior Sharks with bigger ambitions though, it is the Santaclausian who will be gyrating to the next round.
Round-by-round action
Adisadel College joined the special squad of Senior Sharks that have a hundred per cent record in the Right Corner Round.
They didn’t look back from their splendid offtake, as they led the Right Corner Round by fifteen (15) points as Sonrise trailed by five (5) points.
Unknown to Adisco, Sonrise had something up their sleeves as the STEM Round came, and stung Adisco to win the round.
It was a positive turnaround for the Ho-based school, but unfortunately, that momentum could not be sustained as Adisco reversed the trend and took the final round by thirty (30) to twenty (20) points.
At the end of the Round, Sonrise had boosted their image with a score of one hundred and ten (110), and the Zebra Boys had retained their standing with a score of one hundred and sixty (160) points.
Well done to Adisco for winning this contest, and better luck to Sonrise.
