Senior Sharks 8 Round 16- St. Louis SHS helpless against star-studded St. Peter’s
St. Peter’s SHS, Nkwatia, rode on with a championship-winning performance in their Round 16 contest of the Senior Sharks 8 quiz. From the garden city of Kumasi, St. Louis SHS, threatened to make life difficult for St. Peter’s SHS, but it wasn't to be. St. Peter’s proved they hadn’t lost the armour that made them unstoppable as they went all the way to the finals of Season 7. In this match, their dominance was registered throughout the contest, winning each round with emphatic margins, except for one round.
But at a point, many teams would have thrown their hands in the air and given up the fight; St. Louis did not go that line.
The girls found their inner strength and soldiered on, upstaging St. Peter’s (Persco) to win the STEM Round in style.
However, the massive scores Persco had accumulated made St. Louis’ best efforts look like a drop in the ocean.
Round 1 (Right Corner)
The damage St. Peter’s inflicted on St. Louis began in the First Round where they achieved the rare but special feat of a perfect score of eighty (80).
St. Louis SHS would also put in their maximum effort and earn forty (40) points.
Round 2 (R Cubed)
St. Peter’s continued to hold their ascendancy over St. Louis in this round, finishing a near-perfect round with seventy (70) points while St. Louis SHS parted with thirty-five (35).
Round 3 (STEM Round)
As previously alluded to, St. Louis deserves a pat on the back for taking the fight to St. Peter’s in this round.
Their zeal and the forcefulness with which they approached this round resulted in a score of thirty-five (35), while St. Peter took ten (10) points.
Round 4 (One-on-one)
For English experts, Nana Afia and Alfred for St. Louis and St. Peter’s, respectively, faced off as Alfred got all two questions correctly.
Hubaida for St. Louis and Francis for St. Peter's Math experts showed up, with Francis getting all two questions yet again for St. Peter’s SHS.
But Juanita and Emmanuel in Science for St. Louis and St. Peter’s did not add any scores to their teams.
