Saviour SHS are, however, soaking in the pressures and treasures of the growingly popular Senior Sharks quiz for the first time.

Perhaps not unheard of though, Saviour SHS’s newcomer status did not reveal itself in this contest, as they went toe-to-toe with the Northerners.

But Ghana SHS would have to bear the bigger brunt of the reasons for their loss, as they gave away the contest to Saviour SHS.

Regardless, Saviour SHS were the happier side as they looked forward to more success in their next contest.

Round-by-round action

Saviour SHS and Ghana SHS, Tamale had only twenty (20) points separating them by the time Round 1 was done, with the scales in Saviour’s favour.

Shockingly, Ghana SHS, Tamale, suffered self-inflicted damage as they ended Round 2 trailing heavily with a negative score of twenty (-25).

That would not dampen their spirit, relying heavily on the resourcefulness of Bashiru to tear away from Saviour with sixty (60) incredible points in the STEM Round.

Both schools then cancelled each other out with ten (10) points each in the General Knowledge, which would become more beneficial to Saviour SHS, taking their thirty (30) points in the round prior into account.

At the end of the contest, Ghana SHS, Tamale, had been beaten to it by just five (5) points.

Well done to these two amazing schools.
