DPS International vrs Integrity Keepers- ‘soft work’ for co-defending champions

Joint winners of Junior Sharks 6, Dehli Private School (DPS), Tema, were out of the blocks like a meteor from space in their first Junior Sharks 7 contest. DPS’ quality and superiority shown throughout the contest as they faced Integrity Keepers, Asuyeboah, Kumasi, in the Round of 16 of Junior Sharks 7. The ritzy school, smart-looking in their green jackets atop white shirts, showed once again that they would deliver when called upon to do so.

Integrity Keepers themselves had earned praises in their two previous contests of Junior Sharks 7.

Against DPS though, their performance contrasted sharply with what they had done previously, allowing DPS a safe pass into the next round.

 Right Corner Round

Integrity Keepers have not been faring badly in the Right Corner round, but the story was different in this contest.

They had only twenty (20) points at the end of the round.

DPS took their questions in their stride, displaying familiarity with most of the questions.

They earned fifty (50) points from their leisurely exploits.

 R Cubed Round

Soulless responses from both teams greeted the first question of the Round.

Both teams faced turbulent times, but DPS kept themselves together to bring a couple of questions correctly home in the Reading and Writing segment.

Nothing much changed in the Arithmetic segment, but once again all right answers in this segment came from the camp of DPS.

Integrity ended with a negative score of twenty-five (25) while DPS took fifteen (15) points.

 STEM Round

It is this round that Integrity Keepers showed a modicum of fighting spirit, intercepting clues before DPS could finish analysing them.

That boldness and smartness earned Integrity Keepers more points than DPS for the first time in this contest.

Integrity had fifteen (15) points with DPS was not far behind with ten (10) points.

 One-on-one Round

The first segment of the last round, English, was to see Mitchel and Agyeiwaa in action for DPS and Integrity Keepers respectively.

Ten (10) points came out of this round and it was for auspicious Agyeiwaa.

Arnav and Divinegyl stood behind the lecterns as Math nerds for DPS and Integrity Keepers respectively.

This time around ten (10) points went to Arnav.

Science Sharks Schandorf and Indriani shared the twenty (20) points equally when they appeared in the name of Integrity and DPS respectively.

Jeremy and Prince were made to identify the photos of two personalities.

DPS’ General Knowledge expert, Jeremy, attempted all two and got one photo correct.

Prince was missing in action.

Twenty (20) points stood for Integrity at the end of the round while thirty (30) stood in the name of DPS.

Final Scores gave one hundred and five (105) points to DPS and thirty (30) points to Integrity Keepers.
