Senior Sharks 8- Prempeh College in a shaky start against DPSI

The contest itself took fans on a roller coaster experience, as both schools took turns to score high and then low in between the four rounds.

DPSI  snatched victory from the jaws of Prempeh College, to record a historic win.

What saved Prempeh College’s blushes was a very well-executed performance in the R Cubed round.

Even though it was Prempeh who finally secured a ticket into the next round, DPSI will look back on their sterling performance and give themselves a thumbs up.

With this contest out of the way, Prempeh now seeks to go beyond their last stop in Senior Sharks 7.

Round-by-Round action

The contest began on a slow note with both teams scoring low, but Prempeh College came back in Round 2 and tore DPSI apart with unequalled dexterity in the R Cubed Round.

DPSI put those in doubt of their abilities to sleep with speed and direction in the STEM Round to earn fifty-five (55) points.

That explosive display in the STEM Round greatly altered the composition of the points tally.

Prempeh were simply lost in the woods and ended the round with nothing to show for their presence until the last round showed kindly to them.

At the end of the contest, scores a hundred and forty for Prempeh College (140) and DPSI one hundred and thirty-five (135). Bravo!

Prempeh College will know all too well that they have to up their game in their subsequent contests to stand a chance of adding their name to the creme de la creme of the Senior Sharks quiz.
