Eden Montessori enjoyed a sedate outing as they competed against Grace Beacon Academy in the race to the 1/16th stage of the JuniorSharks Season 5.

The line-up in this first contest of Episode 4 of the Round of Twenty-four(24) looked like this: all girls contingent from Grace Beacon Academy whereas Eden Montessori ensured gender parity by presenting two boys and two girls.

Round 1

As per the admonishment that goes to all schools, mopping up as many points as possible in this "No deduction" Round is crucial to cushioning any unforeseen occurrences in subsequent rounds.

Both schools thus approached the Round with all the seriousness it deserves, but Eden emerged the happier of the two as they jumped ahead at the of Round 1.

Round 2

Eden Montessori kept the momentum and started well in Round 2, sweeping all their major questions as well as two bonus questions that were missed by Grace Beacon.

Grace Beacon on the other hand appear not to heed the rules of the game, and carelessly answered questions they were unsure of, which attracted the maximum penalty.

At the end, Grace Beacon had to finish the Round with sub-zero, owing to their inattentiveness to the guidelines.

STEM Round

When the 'R Cube' round started, it seemed Nazirah of Grace Beacon had been assigned a special task to rescue her team as the damsel buzzed fastest to pick the first two questions correctly.

Selasi would not allow Nazirah to outshine her, as she also displayed fastest fingers to impressively buzz three correct answers for Eden.

The scales at the end of the STEM Round had been balanced with twenty-five(25) points apiece for both schools.

Round 4

The specialists in the English segment of the last Round were Gifty and Ivan Adu Gyebi for Grace Beacon and Eden Montessori respectively.

After both missed the first question, it was Gifty who buzzed at the second question to calmly collect ten(10) points for her school.

All the specialists in Maths, Science and General Knowledge put up an uninspiring display as all failed to add any extra points to the point tally of their schools.

When the curtains was drawn to end the contest, Augusta Selasi Ankuvi and comrades had shined like gold: Eden Montessori flourished beautifully to earn a seeded placement in Season 6 of the highly commended quiz competition for Junior High Schools.
