Senior Sharks 9-West Africa SHS hand Nifa SHS a bitter loss
The penultimate contest of Day 1 of Senior Sharks 9 between West Africa SHS and Nifa SHS was a fierce match that kept fans on the edge of their seats. As the first meeting of its kind between these two schools in Senior Sharks, both naturally approached it with the seriousness it deserved. The packed auditorium was tense as the schools turned the scales in each round in a bid to make their mark in Senior Sharks 9. Whereas West Africa SHS dazzled with near-perfect recall, Nifa responded with resilience each time to keep the action unlimited.
from Round 1 to Round 4, the contest was marked by incisive and brilliant responses as both schools sought to impose their authority in the contest.
In the end, West Africa SHS were able to hold on to their dear lives and edge ahead towards a close shave victory.
Round-By-Round Account
It was West Africa SHS (WASS) who catapulted themselves into pole position in this contest with a powerful forty (40) points in the First Round.
This called for an urgent and immediate response from Nifa, and they responded superbly to the challenge thrown their way.
In Round 2, the tide shifted dramatically, with Nifa scoring a fantastic fifty (50) points to go neck-and-neck with WASS as the contest headed into the STEM Round.
The well-articulated responses by Nifa in Round 2 (R Cubed) shot their tails up in the STEM Round, dubbed “Nido iron for focus”.
But West Africa SHS had their secret weapon, using it to good effect to bounce back with thirty (30) points.
With the contest now undecided until the conclusion of the One-On-One Round, the experts in English, Math, Science, and General Knowledge had a ton of work to do.
All experts in this round competed tremendously well and were able to add twenty (20) points to the total scores of their teams.
Thus, after four rounds of feisty action in which both schools demonstrated exceptional mastery across multiple disciplines, Nifa SHS took one hundred points (100).
WASS had one hundred and thirty (130) points. Congratulations to both teams.

Nifa SHS is the first school to leave the Senior Sharks 9 with one hundred (100) points.
