JUNIOR SHARKS 5 FINALS - MANNA INT. BRACE THEMSELVES FOR TITLE DEFENCE AGAINST DPS
Manna International School and Delhi Private School (DPS) will vie for the honour of being crowned Junior Sharks 5 champions. After four rounds of scintillating contests, we are ready to witness an intellectual stand-off between two brilliant junior high schools as they battle it out for the coveted title. Manna International are on course to become the second school only after Ghana Christian High Int. to win back-to-back Junior Sharks trophies.
DPS have one purpose only in mind: to rain on the parade of Manna International and claim the first Junior Sharks trophy of their own.
It is going to be a clash of astute minds that promises to keep fans and viewers on the edge of their seat.
How they got here? (The journey)
Defending champions, Manna International, kick-started their title defence on April 23, 2023, by thumping Achimota Basic School.
They continued their red hot form by bouncing off a strong challenge from Season 4 first runner-up, Vine Christian International.
At the semi finals stage, the Breman, Kumasi-based school tamed Life International School to make their second successive finals of Junior Sharks.
DPS have been thoroughly convincing-first beating Matta Devi in emphatic fashion before thrashing Services JHS.
In what could be billed as “the finals before the finals", the Tema-based school came face-to-face with old foes in intellect, three-time winners of Junior Sharks, Ghana Christian High International.
With two losses against the superb Ghana Christian High, DPS finally got their deserved pay back as they recorded a sweet victory over their arch-nemesis.

Both schools are well acquainted with each other’s strength, having crossed paths in Junior Sharks on a number of occasions.
According to veritable data available, the two schools have already met on two previous occasions, with DPS having the better of Manna Int. on both.
It goes without saying then that the grand finale meeting presents the most opportune moment for either school to confirm their superiority or redeem themselves.
Predictions and Expectations?
Manna Int. has earned a reputation for their unrivalled dedication to learning, and can be deemed a rising force in quizzing.
In recent years, they have won the prestigious Junior Sharks Quiz, 2022 and the Luv fm Primary School Quiz, 2022.
They are seasoned and prepared for any challenge that comes their way.
In this contest, Manna Int. are regarded as the favourites while DPS may be tagged the underdog.
Fans should, however, not be misled by DPS’ underdog status in the grand finale; as they are a force to be reckoned with.
Known for their strategic thinking and ability to decipher even the trickiest of questions, DPS is determined to claim the title from Manna Int.
With the level of unwavering spirit, camaraderie and coordination they have shown, DPS are a formidable opponent.
The stage is then set perfectly for a riveting encounter where mental alertness will be put to the ultimate test.
