Junior Sharks 9 R16- Ghana Christian High reign over Queen of Peace R/C ‘A’ Basic

Queen of Peace R/C Basic were also in to cause a major upset and have their name emblazoned on newscards and in newsfeeds.

Tried as they did, though they couldn’t find an antidote to the intricate manner in which Ghana Christian operated.

Right Corner Round

Queen of Peace took their shot at the eighth set of questions first. They earned twenty (20) points.

Ghana Christian High School took an early lead with forty (40) points after they showed what they know about General Knowledge.

R Cubed Round

The contest was increasing in temperature as both schools battled it out in Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic.

Ghana Christian High School, benefiting from some remarkable fast fingers were able to extend its lead with fifty-five (55) points,

while Queen of Peace R/C ‘A’ Basic School scored twenty-five (25) points. 

STEM Round

On the first riddle, an inadvertent mix up made Ghana Christian Int High to be refused their answer after Queen of Peace R/C Basic answered incorrectly.

But they gave a succinct answer to the second riddle for ten (10) points.

Ghana Christian Int High made no mistakes with the riddles following this, buzzing all the way to the last riddle of the round.

Meanwhile, Queen of Peace R/C Basic earned zero (0) points at the end of the round from one correct and two incorrect answers given.

For Ghana Christian High School they continued to dominate with fifty-five (55) points.

One-On-One Round

Queen of Peace R/C Basic had more work to do to win this contest than Ghana Christian International High as experts in English stepped up to the dais.

Ritza came in for Ghana Christian Int High against Tobia for Queen of Peace R/C Basic. Tobia brought home ten (10) points but neither had a clue about the second question.

Maths experts were Lauren and Aku Dede for Queen of Peace R/C Basic and Ghana Christian Int High respectively. It was Aku Dede who did exceptionally well correcting Lauren’s answer for ten (10) points.

Adelaide and Cleland marched forth as Science experts for Queen of Peace R/C Basic and Ghana Christian Int High respectively. Cleland took ten (10) points for Ghana Christian Int High.

The General Knowledge experts in the name of Bismark and Adina for Queen of Peace R/C Basic and Ghana Christian respectively, and it was Adina who finished off fantastically for Ghana Christian.

Ghana Christian High School led again with 30 points, while Queen of Peace R/C ‘A’ Basic School scored ten (10) points.

Final scores showed Queen of Peace with fifty-five (55) and Ghana Christian High with one hundred and eighty (180) points.
